What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist position at Therapy Talk Inc?
Therapy Talk is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric therapy team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders. You will play a key role in helping children build confidence, improve communication skills, and reach their developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions
Address articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, and social communication skills
Support feeding and swallowing therapy when applicable
Collaborate with PT, OT, physicians, and caregivers for coordinated care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through AI driven EMR
Educate and guide parents/caregivers on home programs and progress
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
NC state SLP licensure
ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred (or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome)
Experience in pediatric therapy preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
