What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Part-Time position at Therapy Source?
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-person services for charter school students. This position is for the current school year.
Speech-Language Pathologist Salary: $59-$61 per hour
Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details:
- Work on campus 2 days per week to cover all the needs and service hours
- Must have experience working with ASD and problem behaviors
- Travel to another school in the same system in Albany, OH (about 1 hour away from Circleville) - mileage paid at the federal rate for travel to this campus for 1 day per month (flexible scheduling on which day)
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- License in the state of Ohio
- School Certification in the state of Ohio
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:
- Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals
- Providing push-in support in classrooms
- Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students who require speech/language therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
