What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time position at Therapy Source?
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services for public school students in Milton, Florida. This is an immediate need, and the position will continue through May 27, 2027.
Compensation: Up to $75,600 for the school year
Schedule: 6:45 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday
Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate speech and language goals for students
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Deliver push-in and/or pull-out services as determined by student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Support students' communication needs to promote academic, social, emotional, and vocational success
Additional Position Details:
- Time built into the workday for documentation and paperwork
- No extra school duties assigned (no bus duty, lunch duty, car rider duty, etc.)
- Strong district and administrative support
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License OR Florida Department of Education (DOE) SLP Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
