What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time or Part-Time position at Therapy Source?
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking one or more Speech Language Pathologists to provide onsite services for a special needs school in the West Mifflin 15122 area. There are 15 students on caseload that need weekly time, as well as make-up time. Most students are using assistive technology, so experience with AAC is required. Ages range from 3-8yrs old. Accepting part time or full time availability.
This position is for the current school year.
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students who require speech/language therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
