What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time or Part-Time position at Therapy Source?
As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologists to provide in-person services for public school students in Maryland. These positions are for the current school year.
Position 1:
- Elkton, MD
- Elementary School
- 8:00am-3:30pm
- 2-5 days per week (Flexible Scheduling)
Position 2:
- Elkton, MD
- High School
- 2-5 days per week (Flexible Scheduling)
Position 3:
- Chesapeake City, MD
- Middle School
- 8:00am-3:30pm
- 2-5 days per week (Flexible Scheduling)
Position 4:
- Elkton, MD
- Full-Time (35 hours per week)
- Elementary school
- 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Licensure as Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Maryland
- School Certification in the state of Maryland
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:
- Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals.
- Assisting in evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
