What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - 100% Remote - SC License Required position at Therapy Source?
As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking Speech Language Pathologists to provide virtual services for school students in South Carolina. These positions are for the upcoming school year.
Position 1:
- $57-$60 per hour
- 100% Virtual
- Flexible scheduling (scheduled based on your and the family’s availability)
Position 2:
- $60 - $62 per hour
- 100% Virtual
- Telehealth experience preferred
- Must have chool-based experience
- Flexible scheduling (some availability during the school day is required)
- Must hold a valid South Carolina Department of Education Certificate for Speech Language Therapist
- Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
- School Certification in South Carolina
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:
- Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals
- Providing push-in support in classrooms
- Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students who require speech/language therapy.
- Providing continued support for students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
