The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for a permanent full-time role in Franconia, NH. This position is ideal for a therapy professional who enjoys leading teams, improving departmental performance, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes in a skilled nursing and rehab setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Manage therapy staff schedules, caseload distribution, and productivity
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulatory standards
- Support therapists with evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical guidance
- Promote strong communication across therapy, nursing, and administrative teams
- Monitor documentation accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-centered environment
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of staff
Qualifications
- Licensed PT/OT/SLP or Assistant (PTA/COTA) in New Hampshire
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a rehab setting preferred
- Strong understanding of therapy workflows, documentation, and regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused rehabilitation services
