About the Role
As the RN Supervisor in the Surgery Department, you’ll provide clinical and administrative leadership to ensure smooth surgical operations, quality patient outcomes, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff and surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols.
- Train, mentor, and support nursing team members.
- Collaborate with physicians and the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current Iowa RN license (or meets criteria established by the Iowa Board of Nursing).
- Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
- Must obtain Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) within one year of hire.
