The Opportunity
We are seeking a committed and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical unit in Salina, KS. This permanent role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg patients across varying levels of acuity
- Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and update care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Uphold safety standards, infection control, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN License
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Reliability and adaptability in a dynamic unit
