Job Description
The People Operations Shared Services Specialist is a foundational role responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent support across core HR processes. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses while leveraging internal resources and cross-functional partnerships. Operating within a shared services model, this position supports Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Strategic Business Partners by executing transactional and process-driven work with precision. The role offers opportunities to build HR systems knowledge, strengthen service delivery capabilities, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee experience.
What You’ll Do
Support hiring activities by coordinating interview logistics, preparing offer documentation, and assisting Talent Acquisition with administrative tasks
Execute onboarding activities within and outside of Workday, including system entries, document collection, and new hire readiness coordination
Manage offboarding processes, ensuring accurate system updates, compliance with established procedures, and coordination of exit activities
Administer the education assistance program by tracking requests, validating eligibility, and maintaining accurate records
Maintain and update People Operations SharePoint sites and shared resources to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and easy to use
Monitor and manage People Operations inboxes, triaging requests and responding to employee and manager inquiries with professionalism and timeliness
Assist with Benefits and Total Rewards processes, including leave of absence support, open enrollment activities, and benefits‑related transactions
Support the maintenance and monitoring of AI agents and automated workflows used in People Operations service delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the employee experience
What You Bring
2 or more years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or administrative support
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
1 or more years of experience working with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms
1 or more years of experience supporting employee‑facing services or customer support functions
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures and ensure data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Sound judgment, including knowing when to act independently and when to seek guidance
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service‑oriented approach
Experience maintaining documentation, shared resources, or knowledge management systems
Collaborative mindset with an interest in improving processes and service delivery
