THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist – Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join our growing pediatric therapy team to serve families in either Downtown, Far West and Southern parts of San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas. This full-time or part-time position is based in our San Antonio division. This position offers a supportive environment where new graduates can complete their Clinical Fellowship under the guidance of experienced supervisors while gaining hands-on experience working with children in school-based settings.
What you’ll do: -Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
-Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
-Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
-Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
-Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
-Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
-Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
-Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
-Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
What you’ll need:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Eligible for Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Passion for working with pediatric populations

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
