We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Physical Therapist for our early intervention agency.
This is a rewarding career where professionals are able to come alongside families to coach, support, and empower them in their child's developmental journey.
This position does require travel to provide in home services and is available as both full time, part time or contract work - allows flexible scheduling and hours as well as the ability to work independently while still being part of a great supportive team.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Providing home-based physical therapy to children under the age of three with disabilities under the Part C federal regulations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Promote family involvement, advocacy and support family decisions.
- Using a family centered model, working within natural environments, build an appropriate and professional relationship with children and families.
- Conduct physical development assessments, as well as re-assessments, and create evaluation reports incorporating assessment tools, caregiver reports, and professional reports.
- Participate in the development and updating of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) in relation to physical development.
- Comply with all state, federal and program policies, standards, and timeliness
- Keep consistent records and meet timelines for reporting and conduction of assessments.
Requirements:
- Current State of Nevada license for Physical Therapists.
- Experience with pediatric population
- Current valid driver’s license and auto insurance
