Job Summary
The Extraction Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate paper and electronic documentation throughout every stage of the extraction production process. This includes inventory records, batch records, product travelers, quality control documentation, labels, and regulatory records to ensure compliance with company standards and state regulations.
The Extraction Specialist works closely with the Extraction, Inventory, and Compliance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support audits, improve standard operating procedures, and ensure the integrity of extraction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Documentation
- Support extraction operations through daily inventory check-in and check-out procedures.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic production records, including inventories, batch records, product travelers, quality control records, forms, and labels.
- Create and print labels for extraction materials.
- Participate in periodic inventory audits and prepare supporting documentation.
- Ensure limited access and proper control of raw material inventory.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support continuous improvement by refining, advancing, and enforcing compliance systems, SOPs, and reporting processes.
- Assist with internal compliance audits and corrective actions.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; concentration in mathematics, data, or statistics preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including complex formulas, with strong overall computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, data entry, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods, including climbing stairs.

Benefits, Compensation, & Schedule
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
