Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and injury recovery
- Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting client progress and treatment plans in compliance with licensing regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and facility protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, addressing client questions, and fostering a positive experience
Requirements
- Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and personalized care plans
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices
- Skilled in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills paired with a genuine passion for helping others achieve wellness goals
- Prior experience in medical spa settings or similar environments is highly desirable
