The Peer Recovery Coach position will work as a team member to provide and maintain a supportive, hopeful, and engaging environment for individuals seeking help with substance abuse. This position should promote greater confidence, independence and community integration and this team member must have the ability to engage with this community to promote support and motivation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Include but are not limited to):
Proactively:
· Engage clients entering each day, making them aware of the support resources offered, daily connections to services (i.e. PRC, SUDHH, counseling, medical services), while ensuring accurate documentation EHR system for continuity of care.
· Deliver timely PRC and SUDHH services to clients in accordance with service and program requirements.
· Timely document each client encounters in the EHR system, concurrently and daily.
· Engage and document 5 to 10 clients per day with services and update the performance trackers.
· Serve as a one-on-one support to clients in various stages of the recovery process.
· Works with clients to identify chronic behavior, discuss impact, develop improvement strategies and specific goal-directed interventions implemented by primary therapists
· Collaborate and meet regularly with the care team to plan care and discuss cases, and exchanges appropriate information with team members in an informal manner as part of the daily routine of the clinic
· Maintain regular contact via phone calls and meetings.
· Provide clients with assistance navigating systems, such as the DHS and Social Security.
· Provide moral, emotional, informational, and instrumental support.
· Assist with socializing and building a recovery network of support through support groups, 12-step meetings, and recovery events as needed.
· Connect with needed resources (i.e., housing, food, and clothing, etc.).
· Flexibly engage clients in scheduling each session, when needed.
Training, Development and Compliance:
· Participate in training and orientation of new staff and interns
· Maintain ongoing certifications and compliance training requirements
· Perform other duties as required by state regulatory rules
· Follow all confidentiality guidelines, including HIPAA.
· Understand and work within The Company’s Mission and Policies.
· Comply with attendance and punctuality policies, as well as all other Therapeutics policies and procedures
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Peer recovery coaching in clinic setting: 1 year (Required)
- Must have CCAR State Issued Peer Recovery Coach Certification (Required)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
Work Location: 100% Onsite
