Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic PRP Coordinator to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake processes, including initial assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Facilitate individual in person sessions
- Provide psycho-education to parents/guardians
- Support clinicians in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, including crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper medical records management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive case management for clients across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and clinic settings.
- Conduct client assessments for diverse populations including children, and adults with a mental health diagnosis
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or mental health populations in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake interviews and provide compassionate patient care.
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and data security.
- Skills in behavior management techniques and working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis are a plus.
- High school diplomate, some college, Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field;
