Job Type: Part-Time | After-school hours between 2-6:30pm (Mon-Fri) and Morning hours Saturday as needed.
Job Summary:
The Developmental Behavior Interventionist (RBT) will work directly with children, teens, and occasionally a young adult implementing behavior intervention plans and fostering positive relationships to support their developmental progress. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about building strong connections with clients and their families while utilizing evidence-based practices to promote behavioral and emotional growth. At TAG we use a fun, naturalistic project-based approach and incorporate art, play, cooking activities, music, gardening, etc. when targeting goal areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Behavioral Intervention: Work 1:1 Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to children and teens to support skill development in the areas of behavior, social skills, and communication to support overall growth.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families, creating a safe and supportive environment for effective intervention.
- Skill Development: Utilize structured and naturalistic teaching methods to help children and teens acquire and practice new skills, focusing on social, declarative communication, academic, and daily living skills.
- Data Collection: Accurately track and document client progress, behavior patterns, and responses to interventions, providing detailed reports to BCBAs for ongoing assessment and plan adjustments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs to coordinate and enhance the overall treatment approach for each client.
- Client Advocacy: Advocate for the needs and preferences of clients, ensuring their voices are heard and incorporated into treatment planning and decision-making.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional growth through training, workshops, and staying informed about advancements in behavior analysis and developmental support.
