About the Role
Therapeutic Application Practice is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHP-Eligible (LMHP-E) to join our Crisis Stabilization and Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) teams.
In this vital role, you will supervise and coordinate clinical services for adults in crisis—ensuring care is high-quality, person-centered, and focused on recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments per agency and DMAS standards
- Develop and oversee treatment plans and crisis interventions
- Provide clinical supervision to counselors and LMHP-E staff
- Monitor quality of services and treatment outcomes; participate in audits
- Review and manage all clinical documentation, including:
- Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Supervision notes
- Screening forms
- Discharge summaries
- Psychological and psychiatric evaluations
- Submit weekly caseload billing reports
- Attend agency meetings and professional development trainings
Qualifications
- Active LMHP or LMHP-E in Virginia Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution
- 2–3 years’ experience in community mental health preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of VADBHDS/DMAS regulations and Medicaid documentation
- Proficiency in crisis stabilization and trauma-informed care
- Excellent written, verbal, and public-speaking skills
- Ability to train staff in clinical documentation and treatment planning
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making in crisis situations
- Effective relationship-building and community engagement skills
Schedule & Flexibility
- Flexible scheduling: evenings, overnight, and weekends as client needs require
- On-call availability preferred
