Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Katy, TX. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions focused on restoring mobility, function, and quality of life. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, setting functional goals, and providing hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises across a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative cases. The role involves educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies, while documenting care in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with other rehabilitation professionals and support staff to coordinate care, track outcomes, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of Medicine and related healthcare principles to safely manage a range of orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative conditions.
- Demonstrated excellence in Patient Care, including patient education, communication, and building trust with diverse populations.
- Experience or comfort with Home Care planning, including developing home exercise programs and discharge recommendations.
- Current state license (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited Physical Therapy degree.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and manage a varied caseload efficiently.
- Strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills, with familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- CPR/BLS certification and commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
