We are currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team.
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Completes patient evaluations and reassessments in accordance with Theramedic guidelines
- Develops an individualized plan of care based upon evaluation/reassessment findings according to referring Physician and Theramedic guidelines
- Documents patient information in EMR system according to Theramedic guidelines
- Remain current with literature related to department which responsible for and maintain an updated methodology, tools, manuals, and criteria as necessary and appropriate. Attend all required meetings
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with Theramedic’s code of conduct, appropriate professional standard, and applicable state/federal laws
- Perform regular checks on equipment and environment. Maintain quality control of all rehab equipment
Qualifications
- A well-rounded individual who has experience working with people with diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with EMR’s systems (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Minimum Education
- Valid Texas Physical Therapy License
- Basis life support and CPR certified
- Masters degree or greater in Physical Therapy
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
