What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Therafit Rehab Physical Therapy?
Location: TheraFit Rehab – Middletown, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Setting: Outpatient (Neuro-Specialized)
At TheraFit Rehab, we believe therapy should look like real life. We are a therapist-owned, family-oriented clinic where the patient always comes first. Unlike high-volume clinics, we prioritize quality of care through 1:1 treatment sessions, allowing you the time and space to actually treat, educate, and connect with your patients.
While we are a neuro-specific clinic, we take a holistic approach by also treating orthopedic and pediatric populations. You’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that values creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and functional results.
- True 1:1 Patient Care: No double-booking. No rushing. Focus on the human in front of you.
- Mentorship & Growth: Our owners are therapists who work right alongside you. We provide structured in-clinic training and ongoing mentorship.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work and learn with experts across various therapy disciplines to provide comprehensive care.
- Freedom to Create: We encourage "Real Life Therapy." If your patient needs to practice gardening, navigating a curb, or playing a sport—we make it happen.
- Work-Life Balance: We are a family-first clinic. We work hard, but we respect your time and your life outside of TheraFit.
- Competitive Salary based on experience.
- Health Insurance: Employer contribution toward your premiums.
- Simple IRA: Retirement planning with company matching.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays.
- Continuing Education (CEU): Annual budget to help you master your craft.
- Mentorship Program: Direct access to seasoned clinicians for skill development.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
- Licensure: Active (or pending) New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
- The Right Fit: Someone who is passionate about neuro-rehab but enjoys the variety of ortho and peds.
- Mindset: A creative problem-solver who values a "family feel" and wants to be part of a supportive, non-corporate environment.
