Job description
TheraFit Rehab is looking for a skilled, motivated, competent, likable, FUN, creative and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team full time or part time in our Wetminster, MD location. We have a large caseload of pediatric patients in our clinics and would love to find a Physical Therapist that would enjoy primarily working with pediatric patients.
Therafit Rehab is an outpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing specialized activity-based physical & occupational therapy as well as fitness programs. We serve children, adults, and seniors with neuro-based disabilities and strive to rehabilitate them and restore their quality of life.
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (Neuro):
- Meet with new patients and give them tours of our facility and/or free screens
- Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients
- Work closely with other disciplines including OT and SLP, as well as overseeing a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Communicate and coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
- Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations
- Evaluate and report on patients' progress
- Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
- Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
Requirements of the Physical Therapist (Neuro):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid state Physical Therapist license
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification
