Theracare is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our established therapy team at a skilled nursing facility located at 1651 N. Campbell Avenue in Indianapolis.
This is a W-2, part-time position averaging approximately 12–18 hours per week—an excellent opportunity for an SLP who wants meaningful clinical work, consistent hours, and the benefits of employment without a full-time schedule.

The Position
As a Speech Language Pathologist with Theracare, you will evaluate and treat adult patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing function
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and functional goals
- Provide skilled treatment for communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment as clinically appropriate
- Educate patients, families, caregivers and facility staff
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for continued care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Rehabilitation, skilled nursing or geriatric experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and regulatory requirements preferred
