Become an integral part of Theory! We are looking for a motivated Associate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Associate Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting to source, select, and hire top talent for the retail stores. In addition, the role is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective recruitment metrics/key performance indicators, processes, systems and tools; delivering a quality candidate experience; and contributing to the representation of the Theory & Helmut Lang culture. This role will additionally be a support function for Corporate Recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and hire for all store level employees, including management positions, for the Theory US stores
- Source, screen, refer applicants, and schedule interviews in partnership with the store leadership to ensure all steps of selection process are completed
- Post internal and external jobs and update and maintain job requisition information in applicant tracking system and on website to ensure quality, effectiveness and meet EEO standards
- Support talent strategy and planning alongside Store Leadership
- Gain information and insight from HR business partners and business stakeholders on organizational planning/structure and staffing forecasting to assist with recruitment effectiveness
- Educate store leadership on the recruitment process and collaborate based on individual needs
- Champion diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process, from content of job descriptions, interview cadence, as well as candidate experience
- Maintain accurate and organized recruitment/applicant files in order to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment function
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition team in achieving key performance indicators and driving overall recruitment strategy
- Lead the Corporate (SSC) onsite candidate interview experience, from coordinating interviews, greeting candidates, and facilitating the interview cadence and hand off
- Support the Recruiting Manager in recruitment administration: drafting offer letters, supporting background check process, wage transparency review, and Workday new hire onboarding as needed
- Lead recruitment events, hosted either onsite, or in retail markets to further drive brand awareness and source/recruit talent
- Support Talent Acquisition and HR team in creating presentation materials related to hiring events, internal training sessions, and ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- 3 years of recruiting experience preferably in luxury fashion
- Retail Recruitment experience required and Outlet Market experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong motivation and capacity to lead by example, inspiring productivity and results
- Attention to detail, adherence to implementation and reinforcement of Theory’s training programs, SOPs and strategies.
- Experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment
- Experience supporting a creative/fashion client group environment
- Self-driven and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effectively multi-tasks to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Productivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver
- Flexible to a changing environment
- Experience in Workday HRIS a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google systems, Strong Excel preferred
- Ability to travel for recruitment events or in-field recruitment needs
Salary range: $75,000.00 -80,000.00*
