Job Description:
The POC Buyer within the Group Business Services Procurement Operations Center plays a key role in supporting internal stakeholders by efficiently executing operational procurement tasks. This position focuses on accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent service delivery while helping maintain compliance with procurement processes. You will collaborate with business partners across multiple regions, support supplier interactions, manage documentation, and ensure tasks move smoothly from request to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong, proactive relationships with internal stakeholder
- Manage daily workflow, including task prioritization, monitoring, and reporting
- Support stakeholders across various business units and global regions
- Conduct supplier communications, including negotiation when required
- Resolve blocked or stalled invoices
- Maintain global vendor master data
- Support creation and processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements
- Perform Request for Quotes (RFQs) and rework purchase orders as needed
- Maintain and manage the procurement task request inbox
- Ensure compliance with all procurement processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–1 years of experience OR
- 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible
- Some procurement or logistics experience (helpful but not required)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication
- Fast-paced, proactive work style
- Strong problem-solving ability
