Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The candidate should be passionate about cooking, works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality Italian dishes with consistency and care. The role is essential in maintaining the standards and reputation our restaurant has built in the last 30 years.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or restaurant setting is highly desirable but not a must. (will train)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, food service, and catering operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Kitchen experience in the food industry or restaurant environment preferred
- Must be available evening shifts (4pm-Close), Sundays must be available anytime.(10am-4pm)(4pm-Close)
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
