Kitchen Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in preparing and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and contribute to the overall smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food handling to support chefs and kitchen staff
• Perform basic food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Help with ingredient organization and storage to ensure freshness and proper inventory management
• Support food service operations by plating dishes and assisting with serving when needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to maintain hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation is advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is desirable
• Experience working in the food industry or culinary experience will be considered a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
