Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Delphi Desktop Application Developer to support our client’s mission by delivering quality software within a structured and mature software development life-cycle environment, preferably Agile. The role involves close collaboration with customers, analysts, QA teams, and developers to enhance existing applications and build new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.
- Resolve defects and track issues effectively.
- Develop new functionality and modify existing applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, and build planning.
- Collaborate with Delphi and Mumps developers.
- Use Jira to track and update work activities.
Qualifications
- 10 years of strong experience in Delphi software development.
- Expertise in Delphi development and Technical Analysis Documentation.
- Ability to resolve performance, memory leak, and scalability issues.
- Experience developing and maintaining Pension and Retirement applications using Delphi, Cobol, MS SQL, and Btrieve files.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS (Oracle or SQL Server).
- Ability to handle product versions, documentation, and development standards.
- Experience converting Delphi 7 code to 64-Bit Delphi XE8.
- Strong expertise in Delphi, Interbase, SQL Server.
- Knowledge of COM, ODBC, OOPS concepts, XML.
- Experience in developing Client-Server applications and libraries.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, RDBMS concepts, and relational database development.
