Overview
Thematic Capital Group (TCG) is seeking a full-time Senior Analyst to support deal execution across our platform. This role is designed to be highly analytical and detail-oriented and is best suited for someone who thrives in underwriting, due diligence, investment memos, and transaction support.
The Analyst will work directly with the acquisitions team to evaluate opportunities, support diligence and closing workflows, and help execute transactions, while also coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to ownership.
This is a hands-on role with vast exposure across the full investment lifecycle, ideal for someone who is highly entrepreneurial with interest in joining a growing real estate private equity platform.

Primary Responsibilities:
Acquisitions Analysis
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisition opportunities, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and scenario testing
- Conduct market research, comparable property analysis, and trend evaluation to inform investment strategies
- Assist in preparing investment committee memos, presentations, and deal summaries for internal review and external capital partners
- Support initial screening of opportunities by reviewing offering memoranda, rent rolls, operating statements, budgets, and lease information
- Maintain underwriting assumptions, transaction files, and pipeline trackers to support efficient deal execution
Transaction Execution Support
- Support due diligence efforts, including review of leases, operating statements, budgets, service contracts, and third-party reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including brokers, lenders, attorneys, and consultants, to help keep diligence and closing timelines on track
- Assist with LOIs, lender diligence requests, closing checklists, and data room organization
- Contribute to acquisition handoff materials for property management and asset management teams following closing
Asset Management & Portfolio Support
- Analyze property financial performance (NOI, variance to budget, cash flow) and support budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain and audit asset-level data, including rent rolls, lease terms, and systems such as Rent Manager, to ensure accuracy for decision-making
- Assist in executing business plans, including leasing strategy, capital projects, and value-add initiatives
- Prepare reporting, presentations, and performance updates to provide key asset insights for internal leadership, investors, and lenders
What We’re Looking For:
Required
- 1-3 years of commercial real estate, brokerage, acquisitions, lending, or analyst experience
- Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills
- Experience reviewing lease documents, rent rolls, operating statements, and other property-level diligence materials
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on real estate financial analysis
Preferred
- Industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, or workforce housing experience
- Exposure to high deal volume
- Florida market familiarity

- Performance-based compensation in acquisition fee and carried interest
