We are therefore seeking a very capable COO/GM to step in as the definitive integrator and to become the operational leader responsible for building the systems, structure, and accountability required for scale.
This role is being created to transform Bluestar from a high-performing founder-led company into a fully structured, predictable, scalable organization.

Position Overview
The COO/GM will have immediate and full operational decision-making authority across all areas and over all operational staff and functions, within the strategic and financial frameworks established by ownership.
1. Operational Oversight
The COO/GM has operational oversight of:
● Field operations
● Scheduling and resource allocation
● Project coordination
● Documentation quality and reporting standards
● Administrative workflows and process discipline
● Recruiting and talent acquisition procedures
● Operational finance alignment (job costing, margins, efficiency)
● Service consistency and client deliverables
● SmartSuite/FSM implementation and optimization
● Organizational structure and role clarity

Required Experience & Qualifications
1. Leadership & Operational Experience
● 7 years of progressive operations leadership in:
● Field Services - Previous experience in field operations is a MUST
● Specialized Trades
● Marine Services
● HVAC Commercial Services - Previous experience in the industry is a MUST (maritime, industrial, commercial, or residential)
● Highly-Customized Field Operations experience is a MUST
● or other High-Variance Technical B2B Environments
● 5 years in a senior operational role (COO, GM, Director of Operations, or equivalent) Experience leading and developing 15-50 team members across field, PM, and admin functions.
● Demonstrated success transforming founder-led companies into structured, process-driven operations.
2. Technical & Systems Experience
● Proven experience implementing, optimizing, or scaling FSM / CRM / ERP systems
● Deep understanding of service-company operational finance, including:
P&L alignment

Margin Optimization
Cash-to-Cash Cycles
Operational Leverage
● Strong data competency with ability to build KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks
3. Performance Track Record
