Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles.
• Deliver professional barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts.
• Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions with precision to enhance client looks.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, retail products, and upselling opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Assist at the front desk by greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth salon flow.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and retail sales strategies.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and texturizing based on color theory principles.
• Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.
• Skilled in advanced services like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence.
• Store management experience is a plus for those interested in advancing into leadership roles.
• Familiarity with retail math for calculating product pricing and sales targets.
