We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) in or around Oak Ridge, NJ to join our growing team!
What You’ll Do
As a DSP, you’ll do more than provide care — you’ll help individuals build confidence, independence, social connections, and everyday life skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities in home and community settings
- Encouraging independence, self-help skills, and community inclusion
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
- Transporting or meeting clients in the community for activities, appointments, and outings
- Promoting safety, dignity, and emotional well-being at all times
- Serving as a positive role model and companion
- Assisting with Person-Centered Plans and goal development
- Communicating any concerns or changes to management promptly

Paid Training Includes:

- College of Direct Support (CDS) trainings
- CPR & First Aid
- Emergency Procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Ability to engage in physical activities
- Ability to read and write in English
