Job Description Summary :
The Supervisor, Operations Support provides leadership for clinical and operational initiatives demonstrating cost-control and effective utilization of team members and resources while maintaining high standards for quality, service, and satisfaction. Coordinates the daily workflow and schedules for multiple services lines and disciplines. Creates a positive work environment that supports ThedaCare’s and the division’s goals and objectives.Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Provides input and feedback to manager on the performance of direct reports. Maintains open and continuous communication with manager on operations issues. 2. Participates in goal setting and involves team members in the development and implementation of goals. 3. Provides leadership for special projects at the clinic. 4. Assists in purchasing and payroll activities. 5. Works to establish a cooperative, collaborative relationship with members of ThedaCare, including providers, leaders, and other team members. 6. Provides input on appropriate and effective staffing levels to meet services line needs. 7. In collaboration with the manager, leads feedback on performance metrics to direct reports. 8. Assists manager in scheduling of clinic resources and team members. 9. Ensures that safety processes are up to date and followed by the clinic per state certification requirements. 10. In collaboration with the practice manager, leads the interview process for direct reports. 11. Triages and ensures the prompt resolution of customer complaints, demonstrating effective interpersonal and customer service skills. 12. Provides a thorough orientation and mentoring process for direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS: • Three years of progressively responsible experiencein a related position • Associate’s degree in a related field PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance • Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility • Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
