We are seeking a talented 4th – 5th year Litigation Associate to join our Commercial Litigation group in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience managing key phases of complex, high-stakes commercial disputes, including those involving brand and reputational matters. This includes handling written and document discovery; conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, pleadings, and dispositive and non-dispositive motions; taking and defending depositions; assisting with witness preparation; and supporting all aspects of trial preparation and strategy. Strong analytical, writing, and case-management skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with partners and clients.
Our Dispute Resolution & Restructuring Department serves a wide variety of clients in connection with many exciting and challenging matters in a dynamic environment. The team is comprised of high performing, creative thinking trial lawyers. This position will provide an opportunity for accelerated professional development through direct collaboration with senior members of the team. Success will require a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to making the most of this opportunity.
Qualifications
Of those, 1,800 must be client billable hours.
The remaining 150 hours can come from pro bono work, firm investment time, business development, inclusion initiatives, recruiting, and similar activities

Qualifications
- Candidates must be admitted to the California bar.
- Have outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comparable law firm and/or clerkship experience preferred.
- Experience conducting discovery, researching, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, witness preparation, and taking/defending depositions.
- Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.
