- Build, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Assist in developing new equipment, tools, procedures, and inspection techniques to reduce production time while maintaining high quality
- Responsible for tool and workspace organization and maintenance
- Assemble and troubleshoot test articles and supporting test equipment
- Collaborate to support development of manufacturing processes and tooling
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in shop fabrication, manufacturing, research, or high-tech industry
- 5 years of technical experience with any of the following:mechanical or electrical systems, high pressure or high vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, plumbing, soldering, system testing, power or controls systems
- Comfortable working to aggressive deadlines and exceptional work ethic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite tools or similar software
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures
- Experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting or programming automation equipment, e.g. PLC, HMI, or process controllers
- Experience with reflow solder processes, including PCBA manufacturing
- Crane or lifting experience
- Forklift experience
- Experience with electrical schematic and wiring
- Experience using various types of hand tools and precision measuring tools
- Experience in documenting, improving, and implementing process instructions
- Experience with reading and reviewing mechanical drawings
- Experience with machining, operating manual milling, saws, and other tools
- Hourly rate $30-43/hr
