We are seeking a skilled and driven Staff Tax Accountant, with a focus on Tax, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tax-related duties, including tax preparation, compliance, and planning. You will also be responsible for financial statement analysis and reporting with a focus on tax implications. As a Staff Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and assist in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for clients, including Limited Liability Companies, S Corporations, C Corporations, Trusts/Estates, Tax-Exempt, Individual Taxpayers, and Multi-State Businesses, while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement, with a focus on tax implications.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business operations and provide insightful tax advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their inquiries and addressing any tax-related issues that arise.
- Provide support to senior staff and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Accounting or related field.
- Licensed CPA or CPA candidate pursuing a license.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on tax implications.
- 1 years of experience in tax, internships will be taken into consideration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex tax information to clients.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a high level of quality.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $65,000 , Depending on Experience.
