This is your opportunity to join a great CPA Firm that is experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking a motivated and credible Team Member who is a detail oriented, and well organized individual, to accurately record and process a variety of payrolls for our clients.
Job description:
Process multiple payrolls accurately using ADP RUN payroll system to detect payroll discrepancies and ensure compliance and accuracy. Provide direct client support related to resolving client’s concerns related to payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Process of a variety of payroll frequencies, (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly and quarterly) for various clients, including multi-state payrolls
- Enter hours worked, and process payroll for a variety of pay types: hourly, salaried, commissioned, tipped employees, etc., review payroll, and manage exceptions and changes as required
- Set up of new hires and rehired employees
- Update and maintain employee payroll records including federal, state, local and city tax withholding, direct deposits, garnishments, change of address, payroll deductions - 401(k) deferrals, health care, loan payments, etc.
- Submit 401(k) contributions
- Work with ADP on behalf of the client to resolve any payroll/tax issues
- Complete workers compensation and disability audits
- Email payroll reports to clients
- Scan, copy, and save documents
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Equivalent of one (1) year of full-time payroll processing experience, (not time & attendance)
- Expericence using ADP RUN a plus
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws
- Solid math skills and understanding of general accounting principles
- Excellent computer skills required, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Must have a customer service aptitude and the ability to problem solve
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Summer hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (with full day's pay)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
