About The Role
As an Afternoon Shift Line Worker at The Ziegenfelder Company, you’ll play a key role in our production process, ensuring our frozen novelties meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are committed to maintaining excellence in every task.
Essential Functions
- Place sealed individual units into packaging and ensure proper sealing
- Repackage products that are improperly sealed or coded
- Dispose of scrap products and raw materials appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with all federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety policies
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in food service or production preferred
- Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Perform bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness
- Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)
- Starting Pay: $16.75/hour
- Schedule: 40 hours per week with set days off
- Benefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment
