Family Law Attorney – 3 Years of Experience (Hybrid)

Location: Santa Monica, California
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Compensation: $150,000–$300,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial strategy meetings with clients at the beginning of the firm’s representation.
• Advise clients regarding their legal options and the appropriate course of litigation or settlement.
• Develop case strategies and oversee the execution of those strategies with the assigned legal team.
• Draft, review, and respond to correspondence from clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, declarations, trial briefs, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Manage complex family law matters, including cases scheduled for long-cause hearings or trial.
• Represent clients at hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, and trials.
• Serve as first-chair counsel at trials when appropriate, based on experience and case requirements.
• Provide direction and supervision to paralegals, law clerks, and other assigned team members.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with clients and internal team members.

Requirements:

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California.
• At least 3 years of family law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Meaningful courtroom experience.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage stressful situations.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing professional, efficient, and empathetic client service.

This attorney position follows a hybrid work model and may be based in our Santa Monica office.
