Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supervised Visitation Worker to join our team in Portland. This role is vital in ensuring safe and supportive visitation environments for children and their families, aligning with our mission to promote healthy development and healing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supervised visitation between children and families in their home, community or office setting. Provide intensive redirection and teach needed skills during visitations.
- Transport clients in your vehicle for goal oriented services.
- Proficient use of computer skills, including typing, and effectively utilize Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Complete and maintain all necessary documentation and paperwork for youth and families enrolled in program.
- Full Time Staff – Minimum 26 hours of Face-to-Face weekly. Part-Time (hours vary per week) – Minimum 65% Face to Face hours for total hours worked. Maintain appointments with youth and families weekly. Face-to-Face time is direct time meeting with the client to accomplish goals, in person or by telephone.
- Provide 24-hour on-call to clients and families for crisis intervention. Crisis Intervention includes, but is not limited to, crisis assessment and safety planning specific to the crisis. Interventions are by phone or in person.
- Learn and implement Evidence Based Practices.
- Coordinate services for youth and family in program, including being a liaison for courts, schools, referring agency, therapist, and psychologist. Attend court hearings of clients in the programs and provide testimony, recommendations, and discharge summaries.
- Consult with immediate supervisor on a bi-weekly basis to discuss clients and review documentation, and receive therapeutic direction.
- Participate in bi-weekly Staff Meetings and In-Service Training Programs.
- Participate in a minimum of 10 hours of training each year for part-time, 20 hours for full-time.Facilitate supervised visitations between children and their families in a safe and nurturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited university. Or high school diploma, GED or Associate Degree and have at least 4 years full time employment experience providing direct casework services to children & families that includes providing services to families that need assistance in the protection and care of children.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, have the ability to use private car to transport self and others, and be insurable.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
