Cleaning Technician – Residential & Commercial

The Yellow Company is hiring a Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a part-time position with room to grow quickly into more hours and a bigger role as the company continues to expand.

This position will start with regular commercial cleaning work, including a music school that is cleaned two days per week. Each cleaning at the music school typically takes around 4–5 hours. This role will also include a weekend commercial cleaning job and backup residential cleaning work as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning a commercial music school two days per week
• Cleaning an assigned weekend commercial building
• Serving as a backup cleaner for residential cleaning jobs when needed
• Cleaning bathrooms, floors, classrooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, and other assigned spaces
• Dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash
• Following cleaning checklists and company procedures
• Communicating clearly with the owner or team lead
• Supporting teammates when help is needed
• Respecting client homes, buildings, property, and privacy
• Maintaining a professional, positive attitude while representing The Yellow Company

Schedule:
This position starts part-time. The regular schedule will include two commercial cleaning shifts per week at a music school, one weekend commercial cleaning job, and additional residential cleaning opportunities as needed.

Open availability and flexibility are important, especially for residential cleaning backup work. Hours may grow quickly over time for the right person.

• Must be flexible for occasional residential cleaning jobs

• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout a shift
• Must care about quality, consistency, and client experience
• Cleaning experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
