Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating Tri Axle dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and efficient site operations. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful completion of various construction projects, from earthmoving to paving. Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dozers, and Caterpillar machinery to move materials on construction sites.
- Transport construction materials including gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other aggregates to designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate material deliveries and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle inspections, fuel usage, and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and tankers.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
