Overview
The Tennis Maintenance Associate is responsible for the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and safe playing condition of tennis courts and surrounding areas. This role supports the overall operation of the facility by ensuring courts are properly maintained, supplies are stocked, and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
Duties
- Maintain tennis courts (clay) including sweeping, brushing, watering, rolling, and line cleaning as applicable
- Inspect and repair court surfaces, nets, windscreens, and fences
- Set up courts for play, tournaments, or lessons as directed
- Clean and organize court areas, benches, and trash receptacles
- Perform daily inspections for safety hazards and report needed repairs
- Maintain inventory of court maintenance supplies and report low stock
- Comply with safety protocols and facility rules
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques and practices.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
