Under the direction of the Regional Sports Director, the Martial Instructor teaches all assigned Martial Arts classes within the guidelines of the Association to maintain the quality of programs. Responsible for creating learning opportunities for specific Martial Arts programs for ages preschool through adult.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Regional Sports Director, the Martial Instructor teaches all assigned Martial Arts classes within the guidelines of the Association to maintain the quality of programs. Responsible for creating learning opportunities for specific Martial Arts programs for ages preschool through adult.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to demonstrate and explain basic Martial Arts skills that are being taught.
- Must be able to work at the learning level of particular class.
- Prepares teaching area with necessary equipment and the returns equipment to proper storage area when class is complete.
- Works with individuals and groups within a class structure to enable all to correct faults, improve self-image, and progress their abilities.
- Keeps class attendance records.
- Follows designated curriculum for classes to ensure basic components are met and set standards for progression are followed.
Certifications
- Black Belt or equivalent (Strongly preferred)
- First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of employment
- Experience working with kids
