Assistant Director of Nursing – Wyngate Senior Living Community in Circleville, Ohio
Wyngate Senior Living Community in Circleville, Ohio is seeking a highly qualified individual to elevate our resident services program. We are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager/Supervisor to support our Director of Nursing in administrative functions, on-call responsibilities, and fostering our community culture.
Position Overview: The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist in overseeing administrative nursing functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing the quality of patient care. This role includes supporting the Director of Nursing and providing leadership to our team of nurses and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize care quality and operational efficiency.
- Patient Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth workflow.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership to nursing and support staff. Monitor staff performance, offer feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Unit Manager/Supervisor or Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively oversee nursing teams.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and clear direction to staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
