The Wyndcroft School—a coeducational, independent day school serving students from Early Education through Grade 8—is seeking a part-time Development Associate. This role supports the Director of Development through data management, administrative tasks, donor stewardship, and event coordination. The Development Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate recordkeeping, meaningful donor engagement, and the overall success of fundraising and community-building initiatives.
This part-time position reports directly to the Director of Development and is based on the Wyndcroft campus with some scheduling flexibility.
Responsibilities Include:
- Process and acknowledge all gifts and pledges in a timely manner.
- Prepare, collect signatures for, and mail acknowledgement letters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the development database.
- Assist with the monthly reconciliation process in coordination with the Business Office.
- Support the Director of Development and Business Office during the annual audit.
- Compile data for the annual report, WyndChimes, and other reporting needs as assigned.
- Assist with donor prospect research and stewardship activities.
- Support alumni fundraising efforts, including database updates and outreach tracking.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all donor recordkeeping.
- Help manage the production of development-related materials and communications.
- Collaborate with team members on newsletters, appeals, and digital outreach.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and supporting school-wide events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Promote positive relationships with staff members, students and families, alumni, and the broader community.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Administrative experience with data entry required.
- Knowledge of development (fundraising and event planning) and/or advancement (marketing and communications) preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.
- Familiarity with the Wyndcroft community is highly desirable.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
