,Advertising Account Executive
We are looking for an Advertising Account Executive (print/digital) to join the West Virginia Daily News, Hinton News, and Virginian Review Sales Team. This is a full time position offering a base salary plus commission.
Four day work week! Yes! We only work Monday~Thursday as we value a work-life balance.
This is an in-office position. We have offices in Lewisburg, WV, and Covington, VA.
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of direct selling experience and be able to demonstrate closing abilities. While experience in selling print and online advertising is highly preferred, we will provide training. Areas covered are Greenbrier and Summers County, WV, and Alleghany and Bath Counties in VA. Must be professional, self-motivated and have own transportation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be a results-oriented self-starter and have a record of success working in a goal-oriented, highly accountable environment.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with emphasis on engagement and persuasion.
Well-developed contemporary productivity and technological skills (Internet, Word, Excel, email, slack etc.)
Ability to manage deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
