The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests during breakfast and room service operations. This role ensures all service standards are met with professionalism, efficiency, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Breakfast shifts may begin as early as 4:30 AM, and room service shifts may run past midnight.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests during breakfast and room service operations
Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast service areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
Ensure food presentation and service meet hotel standards
Take and deliver room service orders accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain knowledge of menu items and be able to answer guest questions
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Assist with replenishing food, beverages, and supplies as needed
Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling of equipment and supplies
Build positive relationships with guests and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Support team members as needed to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
Perform additional duties as assigned or required
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment preferred
Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer service focus
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is a plus
Ability to follow directions and adhere to service standards and procedures
Working Conditions & Physical Effort
Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds without assistance; push/pull carts and other equipment up to 250 pounds. Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, and walking required. Work is performed in an indoor hotel environment.
