What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennal Attendant position at The Wright Pet Resort?
The Wright Pet Resort in Pottsville, PA is looking for a Part Time Kennel Attendant to join our team. We are located on 221 N Rt 183. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic animal care to the dogs and cats at our location
- General upkeep of the environment to make it safe and clean for the pets.
- Cleaning runs/cages and bedding from the pets in our care
- Cleaning up after the pets
- Provide food and water to pets
- Able to administer medications, if required to pets
- Bathing and nail trims if required
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of pets
- Be able to acknowledge the signs and symptoms of healthy vs sick pets in our care and report immediately
