Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and communal spaces
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and recycle materials where applicable
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move comfortably for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled times
- Good communication skills for teamwork and reporting issues effectively
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
This position is for one 8 hour shift on Thursday or Friday to clean a church facility weekly.
